Proposing events

The Portland AIGA chapter enjoys appreciates all the help and support we receive from volunteers and sponsors of all events we have put on, and continue put on. However, we know there are many ideas in the community about events and sections of the community that may feel we don't have enough events geared towards them. We really want to provide the most diverse and useful events for the creative community. We have some very interesting events planned. But, we are always looking for more ideas and help for events that will be interesting and new.

We are not a community with only one discipline. And as an non-profit organization we realize that. There are events in film, animation, web design, photography, 3d, and more that we would love suggestions, and more importantly resources, to try to diversify the community. If you are in these fields and feel that you may have something you could give back to the community we would love to hear from you. Proposing the events are the easy part. Remember, we need to be able to produce them with the help of the community.
