World Premiere - Papier Couture

Join us for the World Premiere of Papier Couture, a runway fashion show and art installation. An event founded on inspiration, creativity and collaboration!

Created by designer Lia Griffith, Papier Couture is a collection of carefully sculpted dresses made exclusively from paper. Combining artwork and text into paper prints, Lia's imaginative creations are a fusion of fashion, graphics, fine art and a celebration of the feminine.

Socio XIV - The Papier Couture Fashion Show will be hosted by AIGA Portland. We invite members, non-members, and the design community to enjoy creative expressions, great food and drink, and interaction within the design community. This will truly be an inspiring event!

The Papier Couture collection, photography and artwork will be showcased in The Art Institute of Portland gallery for the month of September. Join us for the First Thursday opening reception.
