An Evening of Sustainability for Graphic Designers and Industrial Designers

THURSDAY, APRIL 16 AT 6:00PM

About the Event

Join us to hear Brian Dougherty, author of Green Graphic Design, speak about the ability of designers to send a socially and ecologically responsible message to both consumers and corporations. Video segments from Compostmodern 09 in San Francisco will also be shown.

The original Compostmodern conference was presented by AIGA San Francisco and the AIGA Center for Sustainable Design. That event brought together designers, manufacturers and business leaders to produce sustainable solutions for the graphic design and industrial design communities.

Attendees will receive access to webcasts from the entire Compostmodern 09 conference. Signed copies of Green Graphic Design will be available for purchase by cash or check.

Compostmodern PDX was developed as part of AIGA Portland’s growing focus on sustainability. The event is sponsored by Mohawk Fine Papers.
