It’s that time of year again when we take a moment to reflect, lay plans for the future, and thank you--our friends in the design community for your contributions, support, and partnership.
AIGA has relaunched Get Out the Vote for 2016. This civic engagement initiative wields the power of design to motivate the American public to register and turn out to vote in the 2016 general election, as well as local elections to come.
Designers and creatives gathered at the Armory on October 2nd for a day of show + tell from a versatile collective of design thinkers. In addition to six keynote speakers, the WeMake conference featured a Maker Panel, a musical performance by the one-man rock band, Rentz Leinbach, and product demos from Patrick Triato of Goodwell, and Ian Coyle of Huge-King Coyle.
How do you capture the spirit of the creative juggernaut that is Jessica Walsh and develop a poster series that’s attention getting and original at the same time? We asked creators Regina Geltosky and Nicolle Clemetson exactly that, meet the creative team behind the Jessica Walsh event posters.
Jessica Walsh is a big name in the design world. She’s an art director and author running a high-profile agency alongside Stephan Sagmeister. Her work stretches the boundaries of convention. It’s bold, provocative, surprising and playful all at once. And we are absolutely thrilled to have her speak this Friday.
