Adam Garcia interview

Via Ryan Bush:

PSU Graphic Design students had a workshop with Adam R. Garcia. The day was spent talking about the future of design; how design is changing because of technology, where social media is heading visually – and most importantly – creating timeless and valuable work. During the workshop, we thought it would be fun to pull Adam aside and ask him a few questions concerning his work and the work he’s doing for TED. The final piece for the upcoming show will be a collaboration effort of all the students who attended the workshop, and will be displayed in book format for the show.

Amongst other things, like aspiring to open his own studio, Garcia is “building my first hula hoop right now. I’m crafting it. I’m opening up an artisanal hula hoop food cart.”
