Monica is a graphic designer and a fresh face in the Pacific Northwest, having moved to Portland in 2014 from New York. She is a graduate of the BFA Communications Design program at Syracuse University—where she secretly spent time behind the suit as the mascot, Otto the Orange. Monica is a rapid idea generator and a critical thinker, and she has a passion for crafting experiences that leave lasting impressions. She brings these characteristics into her role as Programming Co-Director on the AIGA Portland Board of Directors. In her free time, Monica keeps busy with personal projects, which vary from DIY crafting to honing her guitar skills and GoPro-ing adventures.
