AIGA Portland Portfolio Review 2019
Is your design portfolio ready for the real world? Do you know what it means to be a strong designer?
No matter what your answer is, portfolio feedback from seasoned professionals can provide valuable insight into how to make the first steps in professional development.
This June, AIGA Portland is hosting THE MIX, a curated portfolio review connecting selected applicants with creative industry leaders from companies such as R/GA, Instrument, W+K, Ziba, and Sandstrom Partners. Our intent is to create design relationships between two distinct spectrums—entry-level and established—through round-table discussions, connections with design peers and needed insight to become strong professionals.
For those applicants selected, a portfolio review and round-table discussion will provide honest, constructive feedback from industry leaders. The conversations are similar to an entry-level interview, all with the purpose of providing an authentic dialogue and understanding of what design agencies are looking for in recent graduates. Participants will also have the chance to see each other’s portfolios. So join us at #aigaTHEMIX2019!
Deadline for submission is: April 15, 2019. Please note that applications to participate in THE MIX are now closed.
Who: Design graduates of 2018 or 2019.
What: Round-table portfolio review and critique from industry leaders.
When: Event is Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 2pm to 6pm.
