Recap: March dMob: Drink & Draw | Nucleus Portland

For all of you bummed out by our snow delay last month, we came back stronger than ever for our last dMob of Winter 2018. Shout out to husband and wife duo, Stella Ichsan and Charlie Prom of Nucleus Portland, for opening up their space to 30+ dMobbers to quench our thirst for drinking…and drawing! Nucleus is a gallery and retail space exhibiting local and international artists on SE Hawthorne.

Between sketching and sipping, guests were surrounded by Nucleus’ current work by Kozyndan and Nicole Gustafsson. If you haven’t had a chance to check out this show, be sure to swing by before April 4!

After grabbing some freebies at the door, guests engaged in a variety of conversations. Some sought career advice while others bonded over their new favorite podcasts. Either way, the room was full of laughter and chatter. Plenty attended to get a jumpstart on the upcoming Design Week Portland.

Nucleus Portland welcomes you to gather in creativity and insight. The gallery is locally run by us, a husband and wife team. They aspire to connect the art community through exhibitions, special events, and libations. Since 2004, their sister location, Gallery Nucleus has exhibited contemporary, illustrated, graphic, commercial, and narrative art. Having exhibited both local and international artists, they offer both originals and prints.
