Want a dose of passion and drive this summer? We’re lucky to spend our August studio tour with the newly formed Band. A year-young hybrid group of thinkers, creators, artists, graphic designers, illustrators, printmakers, woodworkers, welders and more, Band’s work can be seen all over Portland in a variety of media from websites to restaurant branding. Their style stands out with its freshness and clarity, and love for creating something both beautiful and cohesive. Band is proof that, as owner (there are two) Zach Yarrington says, "if you work hard and be nice to people, achieving your dreams is closer than you think."

Next door to Band, and included in our studio tour, is ADX – the 12,000 square foot home to the design community of Portland – where high profile designers work alongside students, and artists of all levels collaborate and communicate to create something new.
