For this #dMobCollabs, we’re teaming up with REACH Community Development to facilitate discussions about housing and community in Portland. Swing by Hey Love at E. Burnside and 9th Ave on Wednesday, June 12th, from 6–9PM to enjoy creative cocktails, share your housing story, and explore what community means in Portland.
Making connections is what makes this little city of ours feel like home. Come tell us your story. This month’s dMob is a casual venue to have some fun while discussing this real issues, sharing your story and meeting your neighbors.
Affordability, houselessness, community development. These keywords are quite common in regards to Portland over the the past couple of decades. How have these ideas affected YOUR Portland? How can we continue to grow in a positive manner and keep our neighborhoods and communities happy and healthy?

Portland Housing Story Prompts - Everyone has a story! Whether you just moved here, have been here all your life, recently purchased, sold or flipped a house, built an ADU, have had to move 5 times in 5 years due to rent increases or AirBnbs, we want to hear about your housing experiences.
Map of REACH Properties - A huge part of REACH’s mission is to create affordable housing that blends in with the surrounding community. You most likely walk, ride or drive by affordable housing projects created by REACH every day and have no idea.

What is dMob?
dMob is a free social event launched by AIGA Portland in 2003. On the 2nd Wednesday of every other month (please note date change this month), it's the place to connect with people driving Portland's energetic design community. With #dMobCollabs, we invite local creatives to help us craft a unique experience and fresh visuals for dMob.

What goes on at dMob?
When you arrive, you’ll get a sticker to wear. Venture forth, find another sticker-wearer and offer them a drink. It’s a great way to break the ice and meet new people.
AIGA Portland encourages discussion, business development, and fostering a more dynamic design community in Portland. Here amongst this friendly, laid-back group of design professionals, you’re bound to find inspiration, opportunity, friendship, or, at the very least, some really great beer!
Make new creative friends and never forget the dMob mantra: “Can I buy you a drink?”
Where is dMob?
dMob is hosted by a different Portland venue every other month (typically a bar, patio, or restaurant). Locations are selected by rotating between the four city quadrants, making it interesting and easily accessible to anyone.
