PDXDF: Creative Entrepreneurship Happy Hour

Are you a freelancer? Entrepreneur? Independent artist? Podcaster? Hustler? Let’s connect and support each other!

This will be a casual but semi-structured happy hour for people who are creative freelancers, make personal creative projects, podcasts, books, shows, or other independent work.

  • There will be an "asks" and an "offers" board for people to share their skills/offerings and ask for support in areas you need – whether it’s for finding clients, budgeting advice, logistical stuff, sharing programs you run, or fun collaborations.
  • The first hour will be pretty casual, and then people can sign up to give 60-second pitches for sharing what they do and what kind of connections they're looking for.
  • There will also be space for you to share business cards, small handouts, stickers, etc.

This event is geared towards freelancers and independent creators, but all are welcome! Come find your new favorite artist or contractor.
