Who is Stefan Sagmeister?

An independent spirit and world-renowned designer known for turning convention inside out, Stefan Sagmeister upsets more social norms than a Portland hipster with a clean-shaven upper lip. Remember his incredible installation, The Happy Show? Or the famous lecture poster he created for an AIGA Detroit event by asking his intern to carve the type into his naked body?

What would you ask a man who would take knife to skin in the interests of great design?

Because here’s your chance! We’re giving you the opportunity to ask the founding partner of Sagmeister & Walsh the questions you want. Post your questions to Twitter using the hashtags #aigaportland #dwpdx. Then mark your calendars for October 8, 2014, when AIGA Portland brings the man himself to the Portland Art Museum for Design Week Portland — where he’ll discuss design, happiness, and show us lots of his recent work.
